Louise Granell – Pilates Teacher in Dorset

Monday morning workout ❤#selfpractice #b

Following a career working at the BBC Natural History Unit in Bristol, Louise first discovered Pilates in 2011, after having her children. Pilates has since then become a central part of her lifestyle.

After qualifying as a Reiki Master Practitioner in 2013, Louise returned to work as a Copywriter. During this time, she deepened her study of Pilates by training with the well-respected Pilates Foundation to teach mat work. The Pilates Foundation courses cover all aspects of the Pilates Method and are supported by clinical evidence and current research.

Having enjoyed exploring the connection between body and mind, and how Pilates helps to improve an overall sense of wellbeing, Louise then went on to further her training with the Pilates Foundation for a further two years teaching on Pilates apparatus.

Louise has taught classes at both Bodywise Pilates in Salisbury and Sarpenela Natural Therapy Centre, and now offers one-to-one sessions from her studio situated in the tranquil Dorset countryside, near Blandford Forum.

As well as Pilates, Louise loves being in the countryside walking her dog.

Some Feedback

“Great class as always - that inside and outside thigh hit parts I didn’t know existed!! So grateful to have rung you that day last summer and to have had your ongoing support - it’s helped me survive the term physically and therefore mentally and gain more confidence for sure in how movements can work - I’m completely converted!”

“Last night was the first night in an age when my hip didn’t have pressure pain or discomfort at night! I can’t thank you enough!”
