Pilates Classes in Dorset
I’m Louise Granell and I teach Pilates classes from my private studio tucked away in the peaceful Dorset countryside, close to Blandford Forum.
As a Pilates Foundation trained teacher, I have been trained to a very high level. As part of my training I have completed both the Pilates Foundation Matwork and Studio Apparatus courses and offer these as part of my classes.
Pilates has been part of my life for the past 8 years and being able to share its many benefits with everyone I teach is both a privilege and a pleasure.
I believe that Pilates is for everyone, whether you are looking to improve general fitness and flexibility or would like some help addressing specific concerns, such as back pain or reduced mobility. Unlike Pilates classes commonly found at the gym, I offer a bespoke experience, with classes tailored to your own needs and goals.
Pilates uses whole body movement targeting specific muscle groups to re-educate movement patterns. The combination of gravity, breath and spring resistance can help to re-balance underlying muscular and structural systems in the body. In turn, this allows an increased sense of freedom in practitioners' bodies and lives.
